Anna-Louise Bouvier created Physiocise in 1995, starting with one class a week at the Cammeray Golf Course. Physiocise evolved from a vision for a medically supervised, evidence-based program for chronic back pain.
Anna-Louise sold the practice to Melissa in 2010 but remains heavily involved in the behind the scenes development of educational materials including videos, books and online presence and tools. She created the corporate Happy Body At Work wellbeing program, which is an innovative joint venture with the ABC. In 2018 She became an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University.
A combination of creative strategy, media and speaking commitments take up much of her working life. Physiocise remains Anna-Louise's passion, and she devotes a great deal of time and energy to the evolution of the program.
Melissa Partington has been with the practice since it's inception in 1995 and has a vast experience in the assessment and rehabilitation of long term postural dysfunction and pain pathologies. In 2010 she became Director of Physiocise Sydney and has overseen the growth and development of the two practices with great success. She is a brilliant organiser, motivator and leader and has the strongest commitment to maintaining the exceptional standards of our service delivery both internally and externally.
She is always keen to hear any feedback about the physiocise program as we are constantly assessing our service and delivery. To contact Melissa click here.
Part of the secret to Physiocise has been the infrastructure which supports it. A great deal of planning goes into making the smooth transition from class to class, term to term, appointment to appointment.
From changing classes or making appointments to booking and paying and enquiring about our products our wonderful client care and support team are always there to help make your experience with us as smooth as possible.

As the practice grows we intermittently open up training positions for new staff with the long term view of joining the team as one of our teachers.
