CLASS PHYSIOTHERAPY

In your Initial Consultation, your Physiotherapist will develop a plan and that will often involve a mix of classes or workshops. Some of our clients come for a Term or two of classes and then manage on their own. Some come for many years because they love the motivation, the community and the constant habit reinforcement.

Whichever you prefer we have a solution for you. Attendance to class can be in-person or online. When online, you attend your regular class, live streamed with your physiotherapist. This way you get real time motivation and feedback.

FOUNDATIONS CLASSES

These are the ideal starting point for most of our clients. When your body hasn’t been at its best for a while there are lots of things you may be doing to compensate.

Foundations classes give you the building blocks for a stronger, pain-free body and help you build habits that will make changes stick.

You will improve your posture, flexibility, core strength, buttock and leg strength, and breathing.

HOW LONG ARE THEY? 1 HOUR

HOW MANY WEEKS IN A TERM? 10 weeks

CAN I JOIN THIS CLASS ONLINE? Not routinely, as we give lots of hands on feedback in these early classes.

HOW DO I PAY? In advance for the term

WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS? You can make it up online

In your Initial Consultation your Physio suggest will which classes would be best to suit your specific needs

Classes are broadly divided into these categories.

HOW MANY WEEKS IN A TERM? Cycles of 10 week TERMS

CAN I JOIN THESE CLASSES VIRTUALLY? Yes

HOW DO I PAY? In advance for the term

WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS? You can make up two classes per term online or in person.

FOCUS WORKSHOPS

These workshops are deep dives into areas that many of us need in order to get our body feeling great.

Your physio may recommend you do a couple of Workshops to get the basics right before you start Specialty classes.

Some of our regular clients also do them when they feel they need a bit more focus on an area

Topics include

  • Legs and Buttocks

  • Breathing

  • Core

  • Necks and Shoulders

  • Posture and Form

  • Change Pain

  • Stretching

HOW LONG ARE THEY 1 HOUR each

HOW MANY DO I NEED TO DO? 1-7 depending on what you and your physio decide in the Initial Consultation

CAN I JOIN A WORKSHOP VIRTUALLY? You can join the Neck and Shoulder, the Breathing and the Change Pain workshops virtually. The others are better face to face.

HOW DO I PAY? When you book.
