OUR PHYSIO
Kay Fitton

MAppSc (Manip Ther) PolyAssoc in Phty (UK), APAM

Kay’s enthusiasm, empathy and passion are only matched by her skill, experience and professionalism.

Kay has been the driving force behind the incredibly popular Physiocise Strong Bones classes, and our new Silver Strong classes. She also has a huge interest in backs, necks and knees. Her knowledge in these areas has seen her feature as our expert speaker at many of our continuing educational events. She goes to great lengths to give her clients the best chance of improving their bone health (even trawling the supermarket aisles for calcium-rich foods!) while ensuring they have fun at the same time.

Kay graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in England in 1984 and emigrated to Australia, completing the prestigious Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy and a Masters in Applied Science at the University of Sydney.

She worked as a senior therapist at the Leeds General Infirmary and St Mary’s Hospital, London. In Australia she worked at the prestigious Edgecliff Physiotherapy Centre, where Anna-Louise was a partner.

Her extensive work focusing on chronic neck and back pain gave her the confidence to take on the role of owning her own practice. As the principal of the well-known Active Physiotherapy in Newtown she led an excellent team of therapists for 8 years before taking a career break to raise her 3 children.

She was coaxed out of her professional hiatus in 2010 by Anna-Louise who knew that her wealth of experience and excellent communication skills were a perfect combination for being a part of the Physiocise team.

She has three children Grace, Ben and Phoebe.

Kay is available for consultations at our Willoughby Studio.
