Loretto Normanhurst School Captain, Requel graduated from the University of Sydney with a distinction average.
She worked in London for several years in both public and private settings, gaining a vast wealth of experience before returning to Sydney and working in private practice.
Requel is a gifted communicator, in both large and small settings. She is excellent at linking tricky concepts related to back pain and
injury and making them simple to understand.
She joined Physiocise in 2000 and has carved a niche in the area of children's injury prevention developing the highly lauded Physiocise for Kids program. She has now taught over 8 000 students in many of Sydney’s most well known schools including Kambala, Scots, Kincoppal and Monte St Angelo. What is most telling is that schools ask her back year after year to imbibe the new year 7 students with her important prevention messages particularly as lap top computers become mandatory.
Most recently she has been part of the Physiocise at Work program developing a series of keynote presentations for call centre staff nationally of both St George and Westpac Bank. Her simple clear messages focusing on prevention of pain have been highly lauded.
She also has her Cert IV Training and Assessment qualification for teaching adults and teaches Injury Prevention to Fitness Professionals at TAFE.
Requel is currently also working at a practice specialising in hypermobile children.
She has two children Jack and Annalise.
